(Cover) - EN Star Style - Blake Lively says Chanels clothes make her smile.

The 23-year-old actress, best known for playing Serena van der Woodsen in hit US television show Gossip Girl, was unveiled as the luxury designer brands new ambassador earlier this year.

Blake, who is the face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag line, was present at head Chanel designer Karl Lagerfelds latest Cruise collection on Monday in St. Tropez, and the star has revealed she was impressed with the new line.

"Every piece just made me smile," she told Vogue.

The beauty, who is famed for her mix of feminine and edgy fashion choices, says the collection suited every aspect of her personality. Blake also gushed about working with such a special designer and fashion house.

"My mood was every single bit of that collection. The hardest part was thinking 'I want to wear every single thing here.' I never thought I'd be able to come to a Chanel fashion show, let alone be here working with them and be stood here wearing Chanel couture. This is so special, she gushed.

The show was also attended by Alexa Chung, Vanessa Paradis and fellow Chanel muse Rachel Bilson. (C) Cover Media
