The 23-year-old actress shot to international fame playing Serena van der Woodsen in US teen drama Gossip Girl, where her fresh-faced looks and shiny blonde tresses contributed to her all-American aesthetic.

The beautiful star has now unleashed a new style though, appearing at last nights Time 100 Most Influential People for 2011 party in New York with flame-coloured hair.

The shocking look suited the fashion-forward actress, who matched her new toned tresses with an aqua-coloured Zuhair Murad gown. She teamed the floor-length dress with Christian Louboutin stilettos and elegant Kimberly McDonald jewellery.

Other fashionable celebrities in attendance at the bash included Twilight actress Anna Kendrick and songstress Kerry Washington.

Blake joins stars such as Justin Bieber and Chris Colfer on the Most Influential People compilation, which also features heavyweight political characters such as US President Barack Obama and talk show mogul Oprah Winfrey. (C) Cover Media
