(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Blake Lively has opened up about her relationship with her former boyfriend and Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley.

The pair had dated for around three years before ending their relationship last year. However, Blake - who has been pictured with Leonardo DiCaprio in recent weeks - insists she is still friends with Penn but wishes her love life was kept out of the public eye.

"Every relationship you have, you're learning and growing and taking something from that," she said in an interview with the July issue of Glamour.

Blake admits she wishes she could take a break from the limelight, but does her best to ignore her critics. She has no interest in spending her time posting messages on a social networking site and prefers to keep her personal life private.

"People ask me why I don't tweet," the 23-year-old star said. "Honestly, I'm so sick of myself.

"I have a strong sense of myself. That gives me a sense of security, you know? If I define myself by things that are always changing, like the public's opinion, or what I'm wearing, or what job I'm doing, there's no stability in that."

The star of the forthcoming Green Lantern movie has also been forced to deny nude pictures leaked on the internet recently were of her. A representative of the star has insisted that the photographs were "100 per cent fake". (C) Cover Media
