Bollywood Debutants 2010: Making A Mark

December 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bollywood has seen the biggest ever debuts this year than ever before. Be it in the directorial sector or the field of new talent in the acting sphere there has been a flood of talent this year. Some debutants have been extremely well received whereas some got the ultimate no stir effect. Here are a few debutants this year.

Anusha Rizvi, the most talked about debutant director has made a great impression with Aamir Khan's production Peepli Live. The movie had many debutant actors who were well appreciated. Natha, the central character played by Omkar Das Manikpuri has become a social hero of sorts with his authentic performance.

Then there was Dhaniya, Nathas wife in the movie, played by Shalini Vatsa a theater actress was simply mind-blowing as a rustic.

Dabangg, the biggest super hit of the year had debutant director Abhinav Kashyap as the debutant director. He is the brother of Anurag Kashyap and managed to show his great penchant for direction.

Vikramaditya Motwane another debutant director with his flick Udaan was able to make an international mark as he took his flick to festivals like Cannes. The movie had debutant actors like Rajat Barmecha who is quite a pot of talent.

Some debutants like Habib Faisal with Do Dooni Char, Abhishek Chaubey with Ishqiya or Parmeet Sethi with Badmaash Company have made quite a mark for themselves too.

I Hate Luv Storys ,the Dharma production film with debutant director Punit Malhotra was also quite a success story as far as the movie goes.

Amongst the most sought after debutant stars was of course Sonakshi Sinha, the beautiful daughter of the veteran star turned politician Shatrughan Sinha. Her innocent village girl act in Dabangg has swept all hearts away.

Ali Zafar, the Pakistani singer made his debut with the comedy Tere Bin Laden and has been showered with praise and more Bollywood flicks.

Amrita Puri, the newbie in Aisha was quite a soul stirrer in her debut flick and her talent has not gone un-noticed. Shraddha Kapoor, the daughter of the veteran villain cum comedian Shakti Kapoor was not much appreciated in Teen Patti. Aditya Narayan the son of ace singer Udit Narayan was a squib in Shaapit.

Actors like Raj Kumar Yadav and Anshuman Jha in the Dibakar Banerjee flick Love Sex Aur Dhoka have been well appreciated too.

Ranvir Singh in YRF production Band Baaja Baraat has also got rave reviews for his astounding performance
