Akshay Kumar has majorly done action and comedy genre films in his career. He has no qualms in repeating the genres as he had once stated that he always wanted to entertain people, no matter what. However the actor gets irked if anyone calls him or typecasts him by referring to him as an action hero or a comedy star.

Akshay Kumar, in his recent media interaction session talked on behalf of the actors from the industry and claimed that none of them are racing for any title. "We are not fighting for any title. We are not race horses that you bet on. We all actors are in one fraternity and we do films so that our industry progresses and not because we want to fight with each other for a title."
