Brangelina to wed in New Orleans

26th June 2012

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are considering getting married in New Orleans.

There have been reports that the Hollywood stars will tie the knot at their chateau in France or Hawaii. Speculation is now rife that the couple could wed in New Orleans, where they have a family home.

"People thought they would choose their house in France, but New Orleans makes so much more sense," a source told British magazine Heat. "They don't have a permanent place in LA, but they have one in New Orleans. Also, they know how much money will be injected into the city if they wed there."

The publication reports that florists and caterers have already been booked for the nuptials, which will take place before the end of the year.

New Orleans is a special place for Brad and Angelina. They purchased a property there after Hurricane Katrina and Brad's Make It Right foundation has helped to re-build the city.

The stars are believed to be eager to exchange vows at home, but are also interested in the St. Louis Cathedral and Elm Mansions.

"They want to hold it at their 2 million home in the French Quarter it would be totally private," the insider explained.

It has also been claimed that the couple are considering New Orleans to ensure their A-list guest list can attend the nuptials.

"New Orleans is easy for their friends to get to," the source added. "The list includes huge names like George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, Tilda Swinton and Jonah Hill. It's going to be a big deal."

Brad and Angelina look set to agree an exclusive deal for their wedding photographs in order to raise money for charity.

"Brad's New Orleans charity, Make It Right, could benefit," the insider said.

Brad's brother Doug is expected to be his best man and the couple's daughters Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne will be flower girls. "All the kids will be involved in some way," the source revealed.
