(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sources believe Britney Spears could perform at this years Grammy Awards.

The 29-year-old pop stars 2011 has got off to a superb start, with her latest single Hold It Against Me receiving critical acclaim.

Now music insiders believe the singer could continue her chart assault when she takes to the stage at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

The prestigious music awards ceremony is hosted by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States, and performing at the big event on February 13 would be significant.

Britneys representatives are remaining tight lipped about a possible performance.

We have not confirmed a performance at the Grammys this time, a spokesperson said.

However, sources have told website X17 that Britneys people may just be keeping quiet so that they can keep their plans under wraps and then surprise fans nearer the time.

Things arent just going well in Britneys professional life - the stars romance with agent Jason Trawick appears to be going from strength to strength too. There have been rumours circulating that the pair will get engaged soon, but as yet no news has come from the songstress. Britney and Jason went to a dinner celebrating the birthday of one of Jasons pals in West Hollywood recently, where they appeared to be very much in love.
