(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Brooke Mueller is reportedly planning to go to rehab in Mexico today.

The troubled star is the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, who she has two-year-old sons Max and Bob with. She has battled a substance abuse problem for several years, and has sought help in many different treatment facilities.

It was thought Brooke was doing well, but she recently sparked renewed health concerns after she was seen carrying what appeared to be makeshift drug paraphernalia. She was also spotted trying to pawn jewellery.

It's now been alleged Brooke has decided to seek addiction help again, this time choosing to undergo a week-long treatment in Cancun which reportedly involves taking something called Ibogaine.

"[The] substance [is] extracted from an iboga plant. Some studies show it interrupts addictions to alcohol, cocaine, methadone and heroin," reports TMZ.

"Brooke is saying the program is seven days and it's extreme' but she's confident it will rewire' her brain to break her addictions."

Earlier this week, Brooke was involved in an incident on a plane which was bound for Cancun. There were claims she was removed from the flight after being rude to airline staff, but she's insisted she got off as she felt unwell. It's thought she's been receiving medical attention since the incident occurred.

Brooke checked into rehab earlier this year, shortly after filing for a restraining order against Charlie after alleging he'd threatened violence. The pair have since worked out their issues, and there have even been reports they are spending time together in Los Angeles. (C) Cover Media
