The 38-year-old actress appears as the love interest in new film The Green Hornet, which will be released this month. The quirky star, noted for her exuberant style, admits she was once a wild child who loved to get behind the wheel, even if under the legal age.

I love driving, love it. I have been doing it well before I should have. My cousin Johnny would put me on his lap when I was nine and let me take the wheel, or he would sit in the middle and put me in the front seat and let me... I love speed, she told Pop Tarts.

The self-confessed tomboy also divulged the secrets of surviving within a male dominated cast. The actress was one of the only females on set, a situation which she readily embraced.

Its really not that different [being in a male-dominated cast] because guys are just guys and fun to be around and easy-going. They treat you good because youre the only girl on set. They get you food. They put things under your feet when you need to put your legs up. They wrap you in cashmere when youre cold. Yes they were great; they were really, really great, she enthused.
