(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eminem is set to take centre stage at this years Grammy Awards.

The prestigious music awards ceremony is hosted by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States, and always draws in some of the countrys biggest musicians.

The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 13 in Los Angeles, and it has been reported the 38-year-old rapper will perform.

The Academy will make an official announcement later day about the acts lined up for the show, but MTV.com claim Eminem is sure to be performing and will take centre stage at the prestigious event.

Performing at the Grammys will be another huge accomplishment for the star to add to his recent success. As well as performing at the awards, he is expected to scoop plenty of prizes too. The rappers album Recovery has been a massive hit, and has seen him earn ten Grammy nominations in total including Album of the Year.

Other stars reported to be performing at the ceremony include pop singers Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. ET has revealed Katy who is nominated for four Grammys herself including Album of the Year like Eminem will take to the stage. Meanwhile, Lady Gagas choreographer Laurieann Gibson recently hinted the star may perform on her Twitter page.
