Although the 38-year-old actress has been in a number of high-profile relationships with the likes of Jared Leto and Justin Timberlake, she has never tied the knot. She recently admitted shes regularly quizzed about why shes never settled down and doesnt understand why people find her lifestyle strange.

Cameron has now gone a step further, insisting marriage isnt something which will important in years to come.

I do, she replied, when asked if she thinks its a dying institution. I think we have to make our own rules. I don't think we should live our lives in relationships based off old traditions that don't suit our world any longer.

The star is currently dating baseball star Alex A-Rod Rodriguez, who shes very happy with. She thinks women could do worse than take tips from her about how to make a romance work, as she knows some rules which are very simple.

Guys need women who challenge them and don't let them get away with their sh*t, she told Maxim. Women, conversely, need to not be crazy b***hes who blow up when their guys tell them something that scares them.

Cameron placed fourth on the magazines 2011 Hot 100 list, with model-and-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley claiming the top spot. Cameron isnt surprised, as she has a soft spot for girls like Rosie.
