(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cameron Diaz and Alex A-Rod' Rodriguez have reportedly ended their romance.

The couple are believed to have called it quits recently because of their hectic schedules. Cameron has been working on several movies, while Alex is focusing on his baseball career. In the end they decided they weren't seeing each other enough to make it work.

"They broke up recently," a source told Us Weekly. "She's very busy with her career. And he's had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They're dedicated professionals."

This isn't the first time the couple have faced rumours about their relationship.

They are believed to have split several times since they first got together early last year, with the latest break-up reported to have happened over the summer.

Even though they are no longer dating, Cameron and Alex have vowed to remain on good terms.

"They're still very friendly and like each other," the source added. "They have an enormous amount of respect for each other."

Cameron who previously dated stars including Justin Timberlake and Matt Dillon has made no secret of her reluctance to settle down. The laidback actress has previously insisted getting married isn't her priority.

"I think a lot of people are married to people they're not romantic with anymore," she said in a magazine interview. "I just didn't ever marry anybody that I then had to get divorced from. We break up. We move on." (C) Cover Media
