Camilla Kerslake thrilled with royal performance

29th April 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Camilla Kerslake says her career highlight was singing for the British royal family.

The 22-year-old classical crossover singer is signed to Take That star Gary Barlows record label, and her astounding soprano vocals have led to her being asked to perform for the British royal family on various occasions.

The songstress cites those performances as some of her proudest moments, as she was also introduced to some of the family members afterwards.

I sang at Windsor Castle for Prince Edward so I got to meet him, she gushed to the British edition of OK! magazine.

I also sang at Buckingham Palace for Charles and Camilla, and I sang for Queen Elizabeth at the Epsom Derby.

Camilla admits meeting such important people is a nerve-wracking experience. The star was a little lost for words, and fears she may have embarrassed herself during an encounter with Britains Prince Charles and his wife.

Theyre very kind, and they forgive the fact that Im just a gibbering idiot when I speak to them! she teased.

I mean, literally, what do you say to Prince Charles and Camilla? (C) Cover Media
