The British star has appeared in a host of big-budget movies but often wishes he was a singer. Many music stars have tried their hand at movie-making in the past and Orlando can see no reason why theyd choose to pursue another career, as he thinks music is such fun.

Its so weird. I dont get it. Wanting to be a rock star, I get it. Im like, Oh, my God, dude! The freedom! Theres a very different creative thing. My experience of singing, as an actor, was that theres a different creative feeling of freedom. The acting thing is a bit more defined and cerebral, he explained.

The 34-year-old then began to think about the situation more, and decided that both careers have advantages and drawbacks. He loves the idea of being himself at all times if he was a musician, although he can see that might soon become tiring.

If you have so much freedom on stage then perhaps you want to be confined a bit, and vice versa, he mused. (C) Cover Media
