(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Carey Mulligan doesnt talk about her relationship with Shia LaBeouf as she doesnt want to trivialise it.

The actress is currently promoting her new movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, which is out in the UK and America later this month. She met Shia on set, and they have been virtually inseparable every since. Despite this, neither discusses their romance in public. Carey explained she likes to keep some things private, adding her relationship means too much to her to let others gossip about it.

Thats kind of difficult to talk about, she said, when asked about Shia. I think love is very important, I dont think it should be trivialised. Plus, I dont want to give away my secrets.

She may shy away from discussing her love life, but Carey is happy to reminisce about her childhood. Her father worked in hotels, meaning her upbringing was far from conventional.

For the first few years of my life we lived in the hotels, she told Company magazine. My first home was the Mayfair in London. That must be why Im so comfortable in hotels now. (C) Cover Media
