Charlie Sheen: I don't believe in rehab

25th June 2012

Charlie Sheen has admitted that he is no longer a believer in rehab.

The actor told Good Morning America today that he is not using drugs anymore but that he didn't need to go away to a facility to stop his habit.

Promoting his new show, Anger Management, the 46-year-old Hollywood star revealed his new principles.

"I don't believe in rehab anymore, it's not for me," he shared. "[Rehab is not] a one-size-fits-all."

But Charlie admits that he still likes a drink saying, "Who doesn't?"

"We live in a country where it's always Miller Time," he said. "It's always happy hour somewhere in the world."

Charlie had a meltdown after he was fired from his role on Two and a Half Men and during his subsequent public battle with show creator Chuck Lorre.

"My biggest regret is going a little too far," he confessed. "I was vocal about people I shouldn't have been so vocal about. I'm grateful we're able to sit here and talk about it. It is odd to look at the clips and some of the stuff and say, That was me.'"

Charlie added that his new show will be his last major project for a while because he wants to concentrate on being a father to his five children.
