(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cher has revealed her eldest child Chaz Bono understands his mothers difficulty at grasping his sex change.

Chaz, 41, was born the daughter of musical icon Cher and her former husband Sonny Bono, although he had gender treatment to become a man.

Cher admits she still struggles to use the right pronoun when talking to Chaz, although luckily hes very understanding.

Its hard I screw up on the pronouns so often but shes very soft about it and cuts me some slack, Cher told the British edition of OK! magazine.

The 64-year-old also expressed how tough it was for Chaz to undergo a sex change in the public eye. Because of this, the singer has even more admiration for her courageous son who has transformed from a woman called Chastity to a man named Chaz.

It took much more courage for her to do it because I am her mom, she didnt have one moment of peace, she lamented. (C) Cover Media
