One of the most promising stars of gen-x, Ranbir Kapoor was recently heard talking about the new wave of change in the Indian film industry.
The actor who has been in the industry for almost 7 years now confessed that he can sense the dawn of the new age of cinema.
Ranbir recently confessed that he is very happy with the kind of films being made these days.
"The Hindi film industry is currently in a very good phase now. Newer minds from every aspect of cinema are coming in," said Ranbir.
He further added that right from actors to directors, everyone is raring to go out and experiment.
"Quality of stories is getting better. And actors too are taking brave decisions for roles and films. Also, I feel directors both new and established ones are pushing the envelope. These are positive signs of change," said Ranbir who himself has experimented with films like 'Barfi', 'Rockstar' and his upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet' which is set in the era of 1950s.
Looks like this generation of stars not only talks about experimental cinema but does it as well. Talk about practice and preach!
