Chris Colfer wants Glee to dedicate an episode to One Direction.
The British boy band comprising of Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have enjoyed huge success in the US with their debut album Up All Night.
The group attended the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards over the weekend and Chris arrived on the orange carpet just ahead of them.
He was overwhelmed by the reaction that One Direction received from screaming fans and believes his US TV show should perform some of the band's hits.
"Maybe we'll do a One Direction tribute episode," Chris told E! Online.
Glee has honoured a host of stars by performing their songs in the past including Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears and Madonna.
The show recently featured a track from another up-and-coming British boy band The Wanted, with the cast performing Glad You Came.
One Direction performed at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday. As they took to the stage to sing What Makes You Beautiful, the celebrity-studded audience went wild. Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were both spotted jumping out of their seats to dance and sing along.
Meanwhile, Harry has confessed that he is worried about losing his hair.
The singer is only 18, but is so desperate to look after his curly locks that he is cutting down on his use of hair products.
"I am a little concerned I might go bald soon," he told British newspaper The Sun. "It worries me it might fall out. I am just watching how much I put on it now."
