Christina Hendricks admits the "pressure is on" for her to have children.
The 36-year-old star has been married to actor Geoffrey Arend since 2009. While many of her close friends have started families, Christina is in no rush to be a mother yet.
She says the topic has been constantly raised since her character in Mad Men discovered she is pregnant in the last season.
"I think about it all the time because people are constantly asking me. I'm not ready for that as of now, but all my friends are having them. So the pressure is on." Christina told Hello!
The star can't wait for fans of the popular US television show to watch season five. The hotly-anticipated new episodes will be broadcast later this month and she hopes they will be warmly received.
"I feel very, very lucky to play Joan. I love that everyone is so excited," she smiled. "It was a long break and a long time to ask people to wait."
Christina plays sexy office manager Joan in Mad Men, which focuses on a New York advertising agency during the 60s.
The star has won fans all over the world with her flame red hair and enviable curves. Christina has downplayed her sex symbol status, admitting she is still adjusting to all the attention surrounding her looks.
"My husband says, What Joan walk? You've always walked that way.' It's just all the mannerisms," she explained. "The voice changes a little bit, the walk changes a little bit, and the way I use my hands changes a little bit. [The walk] seems to come up on interviews and on talk shows."
