Now we hear that Gautham Vasudev Menon's upcoming production 'Azhagar Saamyin Kuthirai' has been acquired by Dayanidhi Azhagiri. When approached the closer sources of both ends, it was revealed that discussions are on initial stages and official confirmations will be made shortly.  'Azhagar Saamyin Kuthirai' is produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon under the banner name of Photon Kathaas Factory and is directed by Susindran. Susindran shot to fame with his debut directorial 'Vennila Kabadi Kulu' that proved to be a trendsetting movie. Later the filmmaker made huge waves with his power-packed crime drama 'Naan Mahaan Alla'. 'Azhagar Saamyin Kuthirai' will be a comedy drama starring Appukutty and Saranya Mohan in lead roles with Maestro Ilayaraja scoring music.
