We have been hearing all about 'Rangoon' from the starcast of Vishal Bhardwaj's next film titled 'Rangoon.' Thanks to Shahid Kapoor, who is constantly sharing his experience while shooting for the film. The shooting for the film was completed just a few days ago. But the release date was kept under wraps.
Seems like Vishal is set to give Shahid his best birthday gift ever. As Shahid will celebrate his 36th birthday on February 25, 2017, 'Rangoon' will release on February 24, 2017. Sajid Nadiadwala shared the release date of the film on his Twitter account, He said, "#SajidNadiadwala's #Rangoon by #VishalBhardwaj to release on Feb 24, 2017. @shahidkapoor #SaifAliKhan #KanganaRanaut."
The film is a period drama set in the era of mid 1940s. It has a boasting starcast of Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles.
Saif and Vishal will reunite again after almost a decade. The last film which the duo did together was 'Omkara' co-starring Ajay Devgn. 'Rangoon' has been co-produced by Vishal, Sajid Nadiadwala under the Nadiadwala Grandson banner and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
