Rani Mukerji was away from the limelight ever since she gave birth to a baby girl Adira in 2015. The last she was seen in the movie 'Mardaani.' Now the actress is making her comeback on the silver screen with the film 'Hichki.'

While news regarding her comeback was making the rounds of the internet, it came as a good news when Rani confirmed it in a statement.

She said, "I was looking for a script that would challenge and excite me, and Hichki came my way. Each one of us has a weakness that pulls us back, it could be a disability or any condition but if we just look at it as simply a hiccup, we can emerge as a winner. It won't come in the way of achieving your dreams. Hichki is built on this positive premise and I have decided to take it up."

In a nutshell, film will be about overcoming your shortcomings and achieving your goals. 

The film will be produced by Maneesh Sharma under YRF banner and will directed by Siddharth P Malhotra.
