Officials of the Censor Board of the Film Certification have cleared Pawan Kalyan's forthcoming movie 'Gabbar Singh' with a U/A certificate. Following this, producer Bandla Ganesh has decided to release the film on 11th May, 2012.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Police Officers' Association has raised an objection to Pawan Kalyan dancing with scantily dressed women in 'Gabbar Singh', with his khaki clothes on. The Association says that it is objectionable.
In a statement, where objections were raised over Pawan Kalyan dancing with girls in khaki clothes in a song, the association has demanded that the visuals be deleted.
A remake of the Bollywood hit 'Dabangg', which had Salman Khan in the lead role, 'Gabbar Singh' is directed by Harish Shankar and music is by Devi Sri Prasad. Shruti Haasan dons the role of the heroine.
