(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Simon Cowells mother will be the first to know any news of his marriage, it has been claimed.

Former pop star Sinitta is a close pal of the music mogul, and works backstage with him on UK televised singing competition The X Factor.

According to Sinitta, reports that Simons mother Julie Brett is pressurising him to organise he and fiance Mezhgan Hussainys wedding arent true.

I dont think shes getting tired of waiting around. Its her son and you dont want to pressurise your kids, wrote Sinitta in the British edition of OK! magazine.

Simon and beautiful make-up artist Mezhgan met on the set of American Idol, back when the music expert was a judge on the show. They became engaged in February this year, although still havent announced official plans for the big day.

Sinitta also discussed the continuing debate over who will be a judge on US X Factor, as Simon is exporting the franchise to America next year. There have been reports Cheryl Cole who judges on the UK edition is in the running, although Sinitta would like to offer herself up for the role. She also thinks pop star Nicole Scherzinger would be fantastic, as she impressed producers during her stint as a guest judge on the UK show.
