(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Damon Albarn said that playing shows in America with the Gorillaz was weird.

The 42-year-old British musician has just finished touring in the US with his band after more than a decade has passed since he last performed in the country.

The previous time he performed in front of an American public was when he fronted the rock band Blur, which he said was always a struggle.

It was so much fun. Its very weird, I havent played out of England in that way in a long time ten, 12 years and America was always such a struggle with Blur, even though we had a wonderfully loyal cult following he told British magazine NME.

The singer also divulged that he is working on a secret project that was very dear to him at the moment.

The public will find out what it is in 2011 but until then, Damon isnt revealing anything more than how much it means to him.
