(Cover) - EN Star Style - Dannii Minogue has compared walking the red carpet to walking the plank.

The 39-year-old Australian pop star and television personality is a major fashion icon, having last year proved her style credentials by launching clothing collection Project D in collaboration with pal Tabitha Somerset Webb.

Dannii rarely puts a foot wrong in the fashion stakes, although the celebrity admits to suffering with her nerves while getting ready for swanky showbiz parties.

Its awards-show season again. Dressing for the red carpet is stressful. Not only do you want to feel fabulous for the big night, but walking the red carpet can sometimes feel like a pirate walking the plank, she confessed. Every step could potentially lead you to the long fall down to frock hell.

The gorgeous star often counts on designer duo Jacob Luppino and Anthony Pittorinos label J'Aton Couture when she wants to pull out all the stops for an industry event. One of Danniis best fashion memories is wearing one of their creations to the UKs National Television Awards a few years ago.

When I need red carpet wow, I can always rely on my Aussie couture buddies, JAton, to make it special. One of my favourites was a long, gold lace dress that I wore to the National Television Awards back in 2008. There were cut-out bits and covered bits, so we just had to make sure that all the cut-out bits were in exactly the right places, she revealed in the British edition of Glamour magazine.
