January 3, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood actor David Arquette, who was seen in the Scream series, has welcomed the New Year in a healthy manner. The actor got himself a trip to rehab for alcohol treatment and other issues.

The 39 year old actor had split from his wife actress Courteney Cox with whom he has a six year old daughter. David was undergoing depression and took to drinking but not hard drugs. He has been dealing with his broken heart since then as he was finding it tough to handle the sudden changes in life. The actor has been married to Cox for 11 years.

A source reported that Arquette was not looking great in a party at LIV nightclub in Miami on Wednesday. He was drunk and was not properly dressed and was in a total mess. However, he did not stop here and again had the New Years Eve party at Roosevelt Hotels Beachers Madhouse on Friday.

Interestingly, Arquette admitted in a recent interview that he turns a maniac after having some packs of alcohol. However, he added that he has been trying to get rid of alcohol.

On the other hand, Cox has extended her full support and help on this decision of David. She said that she admires his decision and would support him if he needs her in this.

We hope the New Year comes with a better and healthy lifestyle for David and he becomes successful in his mission of getting rid of alcohol!
