Debra Messing and her husband Daniel Zelman have called it quits.

The Will and Grace star's representative confirmed to Us Weekly that the actress and her partner of more than a decade were no longer together.

In a sad announcement in the throes of the holiday season, the 43-year-old said that she remains on good terms with Daniel for the sake of their seven-year-old son Roman.

"Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman privately separated earlier this year after a 10 year marriage," her spokesperson said in a statement today.

"The decision was mutual, and they remain supportive of one another and committed to raising their son as a family."

The estranged couple met while studying at New York University years ago and tied the knot in 2000.

A source told the publication that Daniel, who is an actor and television producer, have been doing their best to keep things as stable as they can for their little boy.

"They have been separated the better part of the year but continue to live together in New York for Roman," the insider said. "It's very amicable."

The family had relocated from Los Angeles to the Big Apple recently as Debra is starring in new series, Smash, which was filmed in the city.

They were seen out as recently as Halloween weekend where they had dressed up in ghoulish costumes and seemed to be happy spending time together.
