Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar portrayed the life of a high-profile model as he directed Priyanka Chopra in the lead for his film 'Fashion' and then he touched on the the sensitive and controversial real-life story of an actress with Kareena Kapoor as the protagonist in his film 'Heroine'.

Based on the latest news in tinsel town, Madhur is already working on the script of his next and this time as well the subject will be on the real-life story of a supermodel.

Madhur has already approached Deepika Padukone for this woman-centric role. Although, the actress has not confirmed that she would be signing this project tentatively titled 'Calendar Girl', she has expressed keen interest in the script.

Sources close to the production shared that Deepika was Madhur's first choice; besides, the actress was once a model and also a calendar cover girl, so there is no doubt that she is perfectly apt for the role.

Deepika has not yet confirmed the news as based on her team, they still need to receive a formal proposal to start evaluating the project and will also have to look at Deepika's schedule for the shoots.
