Demi Moore has been discharged from Sherman Oaks Hospital.

E! News reports that the actress left the facility sometime today, but it is unclear where she plans to go next.

Demi has the option of returning to her Bel Air mansion or entering herself into a rehabilitation programme.

Demi was admitted to hospital on Monday after she suffered a seizure.

The frail star is rumoured to have been treated for anorexia and substance abuse. She is thought to have been inhaling nitrous oxide from aerosol cans days before she was hospitalised, an act that ultimately lead to her breakdown in health.

Demi was left devastated last year after reports emerged that her husband of six-years, Ashton Kutcher, had cheated on her on their sixth wedding anniversary.

The couple have since separated, but divorce papers have not been filed yet.

Ashton has just returned to Los Angeles from shooting a Colcci advertising campaign in Brasil with supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio.

When asked by TMZ reporters to share his thoughts on Demi's ailing health, Ashton had no comment.
