October 12, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Americas favorite serial killer is back in action with the Season 5 and he is finally out of mourning. The first two episodes of Dexter Season 5 showed him trying to cope up with the death of Rita. Although it was good to see Dexter showing a bit of emotion, but to be honest, it was getting a bit boring too. Practically Perfect stayed true to its name and featured an exciting fast-paced game of wits between the killer and his next victim.
Dexter finally hired a nanny to take care of his baby, and at the beginning, she seems just perfect for the job. As for the murder, Dexter starts planning to kill Boyd Fowler, according to him this kill will help him get his life back in order. He plans to run into Fowler and get himself invited into a dead animal pickup day. This time, the plans go awry as Dexter injects Boyd with a drug; the murderer turns around and stuns Dexter. Both Dexter and Boyd are hospitalized but they manage to escape.
As luck would have it, Dexter tracks down Boyd and kills him with a knife but he is caught in the act by a traumatized woman. It seems that the woman was being held captive by Boyd; we are sure this lady will form a relationship with Dexter (although the nature of the liaison is still uncertain).
It seems that the next episode will be dedicated to this womans efforts at rehabilitation.
