Producer Khammar of Rehan Enterprises ousted the director Vasu, after the muhurut because he leaked to the media that the film 'Dhan Dhana Dhan' is based on the Hindi film 'Hum Kisise Kum Nanin'. At the audio release he stated that the film is having 75 percent shades of 'Hum Kisise Kam Nahin'.

The audio of the film was released by well-known personality S A Govindaraju in the presence of Swasthik Shanker and KV Nagesh Kumar, at The Bell Hotel in Bengaluru, on Monday evening.

Directed by Ramnath Rigvedi, this Kannada remake stars Premkumar, Sharmila Mandre amongst others. Four songs in this film have been made by Sai Karthik of 'Salute' fame.
