Formerly titled as 'Kizie aur Manny' starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Singh was titled as 'Dil Bechara' by the makers in the recent past. Adding to it, casting director turned director Mukesh Chhabra has finally confirmed its release date. Making it official via his Instagram post he wrote, "*Dil Bechara* This November, love will find a way! #DilBechara releases on 29th November, 2019! @sushantsinghrajput @sanjanasanghi96"

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh too shared it on his social networking account, "Release date confirmed... Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi... #DilBechara to release on 29 Nov 2019...Directed by Mukesh Chhabra... Produced by Fox Star Studios."

Film is believed to be based on book 'The Fault in Our Stars', the first look of the movie was unveiled in July 2018. However, the film hit a roadblock after director was accused of sexual harassment which got shoot of the film to a halt for a certain period.
