Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Y S Rajashekar Reddy`s close aide K V P Ramachandra Rao has reportedly refused to meet Ram Gopal Varma after coming to know that the ace director is planning to make a film on the aftermath YSR`s demise – apparently titled Reddygaru Poyaru.
According to reports, RGV approached the controversial Congress leader and sought an appointment to 'discuss' a subject with him. Rao, who was no aware of RGV's plans to make a movie on YSR, gave him the appointment.
However, he later cancelled it after his supporters briefed him about Reddygaru Poyaru. It is said that the movie on the latest political developments in Andhra Pradesh, especially after the death of YSR and hence the title.
'I didn’t know that Varma was doing a film titled Reddygaru Poyaru. In fact everyone who knows politics knows about my present, peculiar condition. I have been avoiding all political controversies,' Rao was quoted as saying.
