Dita Von Teese gets over heartbreak by starting a new hobby.

The burlesque star was married to goth rocker Marilyn Manson, 43, but filed for divorce in 2006 amid claims he was having an affair.

She is now thought to be in a relationship with French aristocrat Count Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, although she prefers not to discuss her personal life. That said, Dita was happy to give her fans some tips on how to deal with a relationship breakdown on Twitter.

"New hobbies, work, & self-improvement to prepare for a new BETTER relationship (sic)!" she wrote.

Her advice went down well with her followers, many of who praised Dita for doing her utmost to better herself.

Dita and Marilyn were married for just a year when she decided to end their union. He went on to date Evan Rachel Wood, 24, and slammed his relationship to Dita publicly.

She insists things didn't work out because of his behaviour.

"I had all the faith in the world in our relationship for the seven years we were together. I loved him very much, and completely believed it would be forever... Everything went downhill after we got married. I started working a lot to escape my home life," Dita previously admitted.

"It was difficult, because I was trying to get him help for his problems, and eventually I realised that he didn't want help. I wasn't supportive about his partying or his relationship with another girl, and as much as I loved him I wasn't going to be part of that."
