'The Ghazi Attack' trailer will send shivers down your spine

11th January 2017

Just a few days ago Karan Johar announced that he will be producing a film 'The Ghazi Attack' which is based on the sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistani submarine used at the time of Indo-Pak war in the year 1971. It will also be India's first underwater film. While the poster hinted something very intense coming our way, the trailer has made its way and is quiet intriguing.

Karan Johar shared the trailer on his Twitter handle by tweeting, "Here it is....the underwater WAR you did NOT know  about.... #TheGhaziAttack ....@dharmamovies #AAFilms http://bit.ly/TheGhaziAttackTrailer …"

The trailer depicts a story of rivalry between India and Pakistan. Amitabh Bachchan narrates the story of a series of war fought between India and Pakistan in the year 1971. But one more war took place in that year and that too deep under the ocean. The Indian Army was on a classified mission. The war took place when Pakistan launched a mission to destroy India's INS Vikrant and choosed PNS Ghazi as their naval base to conquer the port of Vishakhapatnam. PNS Ghazi was destroyed by the Indian Submarine S-21 and a team of 18 patriotic naval officers who remained undercover for almost 18 days. Rana Daggubati is intense as the naval officer and so is Taapsee Pannu in her de-glam avatar.

The film is directed by Sankalp Reddy and also stars Kay Kay Menon, late Om Puri, Milind Gunaji and many others in pivotal roles.
