Dostana 2: Updates

Priyanka Chopra played 'Desi girl' in the movie and now we hear that the sequel is completely set to go desi. Apparently,
'Dostana 2' is set in the backdrop of Sadda Punjab.
The film was announced right after the release of the prequel but director
Tarun Mansukhani could not find an equally competent script to start the project with.
The final script too underwent a makeover quite a few times, so much so that it might not go on floors as decided in October this year.
Deepika Padukone had been signed as the female lead for the film but with the schedule going haywire, Dippy might not be able to work on it, even though insiders say that she is quite eager.
Abhishek too is eagerly waiting for the shooting to start. He says the project might take off in November, "We have also been waiting for a very long time to make the film. We haven't started shooting yet. We will start shooting later in the year ... November if I am not mistaken".
