Double heroine treat for Jaggesh
1st August 2011
Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh is having a gala time these past few months. His latest release, 'Double Decker' had two heroines, including Shraddha Arya, who was supposed to be launched opposite Puneet in 'Maurya' which was shelved.
Buoyed by 'Double Decker's success, Jaggesh and his wife Parimala have launched their home banner and their first venture is none other than 'Bodyguard'. A remake of the Malayalam film by the same name, 'Bodyguard' will see cameraman Ashok Raman in action after 18 months. Ashok had done a fabulous job of bringing to life the dinghy gullies and small houses in a slum in director Guruprasad's 'Eddelu Manjunatha' starring Jaggesh.
Obviously, his work was noticed and appreciated by Jaggesh, who dragged down Ashok from Mumbai, where he was content shooting for ad films and such. Jaggesh has also asked young composer Vinay Chandra, son of a journalist to make the music for his film. Apparently, the musician's tunes have impressed Jaggesh to a great extent.
For his part, Vinay has made Jaggesh sing a song for the film. M S Karant will write the dialogues for the film, to be directed by Jaggesh's long-time friend and associate Anand. The heroines are Daisy Shaw and Spoorthi. The former who lost out on an offer opposite Darshan is debuting with Prajwal in 'Bhadra', while Spoorthi, a spunky actress is already several films old and has also acted opposite Jaggesh's younger son Yathiraj.
With such a cast and crew, this version of 'Bodyguard' is sure to bring fireworks at the box-office.
