(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Drake has revealed the release date of his upcoming album.
The Canadian recording artist, who has worked with several other hip-hop artists including Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Eminem and Jay-Z, took to his October's Very Own blog to let fans know when Take Care would be hitting stores.
As fans await the follow-up to the star's debut album Thank Me Later, the Toronto rapper posted a new track, Dreams Money Can Buy, on his blog last month. Yesterday, another track from the album, Marvin's Room, was made available for fans to listen to. It is unclear whether the song will appear on the final cut of the album.
"Another piece of the story. Single coming in July. Take Care coming Oct. 24th," he wrote on his blog yesterday.
The "another piece of the story" in Drake's message most likely refers to the post on May 20 when he released Dreams Money Can Buy. He wrote "Not my single. Just a piece of my story."
As fans eagerly await the release of Drake's second studio album, details remain scarce. (C) Cover Media
