October 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The news is now official. Singers Eminem and Rihanna have teamed up for the sequel of their hit duet Love The Way You Lie and the hit track is all set to be part of the upcoming album Loud. Speaking to the media Rihanna recalls how she could not say no to Eminem when the lyrics of their popular track together was first to her. The song, says Rihanna, is very close to her heart after her experience with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who reportedly attacked the singer last year. This time too the Love The Way You Lie sequel has domestic violence as its subject.
The sequel is being produced by England based producer Alex da Kid who was also the mastermind of the original hit track which was part of Eminems album Recovery. Media reports say that while the original track centered around the subject of domestic abuse from a mans perspective, the sequel looks at the subject from a womans point of view.
Rihanna has always been vociferous about how intense and meaningful she thought the lyrics of Love The Way You Lie were. And in spite of being in such a volatile relationship with ex Chris Brown, Rihanna says that she did not shy away from being a part of the song because it was Eminem who first sent her the lyrics and she completely believed in the sincerity with which Eminem wanted to present the song. The sequel track will hit music stores next month.
