Director Pandiraj and Vimal together streaked with the grand success of 'Pasanga'. Even after a year of release, the film is still making headlines by winning more international awards and global appreciations. Recently, director Pandiraj was felicitated with National awards for the new category of Best Dialogues and both the kids Sriram and Kishore won Best Child artists award. Although Vimal didnt fetch any accolades for his outstanding performance, the actor has gained more offers.

At the moment, the actor has nearly half-dozen projects amongst which Cloud Nine Productions 'Thoonga Nagaram' is almost complete. The latest news is that director Lingusamy has reportedly signed the duo Pandiraj-Vimal for a film to be produced under his home banner Tirupathi Brothers. The script discussions are in the initial levels and final confirmations will be made shortly.

Meanwhile Lingusamy is planning to produce more films simultaneously. He has been holding discussions with various directors and Mysskins 'Mugamudi' and an untitled film with Balaji Sakthivel has been already confirmed. It looks like both the films will have Arya in lead role.
