TV viewers all across the United States of America waited for the results of Dancing With the Stars The contestants were all agog to know the results but were feeling jittery all the same. This was especially true of the stars who had not managed to receive accolades from the judge. Bristol Palin broke down in tears while Jennifer Grey seemed overly emotional. The encouraging hug given by Derek Hough was not able to lift up her spirits either.

The first check in by voting offered some consolation for Gray and Hough as they were proclaimed to be safe. The irony of the 7th week on Season 11 of the show was that each of the three couples pronounced to be in danger had given their best shot only the night before, dancing their hearts out. The couples Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer; Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke along with Palin and Mark Ballas were the three couples in jeopardy while the final judgment sent erstwhile basketball player Burke and partner Rick Fox packing.

The eliminations in the show were not of primary importance though. The cast of Skating with the Stars this winter was also revealed in the show which includes reality star Bethenny Frankel, Jonny Moseley, the expert skier and Brandon Michael Smith, the Disney channel actor among others.
