(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart got irritated with each other in the making of Rabbit Hole.

The two Hollywood stars appear together in the gritty drama which recounts the story of a married couple dealing with the death of their young son.

Rabbit Hole features some devastating scenes, and working out how to portray grief on screen led to some tense moments between the stars. The pair got on exceedingly well most of the time though, and Aaron isnt embarrassed to admit the tension because he finds it completely normal.

"She was irritated with me and I was irritated with her but that's the way movie-making is," he told E! Online. For one day, are we not allowed? For half a day even?

When he agreed to appear in the movie, Aaron was perfectly aware it would lead to some stressful moments for him due to its sensitive themes. In fact, he would have been surprised if there had never been any disputes.

"You're around tens of people or hundreds of people working on things that are imaginary and that come from the soul," he explained. "You could be dealing with subject matter like prostitution, death, drugs, blah, blah, blah. How could you expect that not to be uncomfortable?"

Aaron also made reference to recent reports Nicole was planning to set him up on a date. The 42-year-old hunk says hes still waiting to be introduced to a nice girl by Nicole.

"The proof's in the pudding. Let's see her put her money where her mouth is. I haven't seen it yet," he laughed. (C) Cover Media
