(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Eddie Cibrian's new television show has been cancelled after just three episodes.
The 38-year-old actor starred in the sexy 1963 drama series The Playboy Club which also starred Amber Heard and Jenna Dewan.
The show premiered on September 19 with just over 5 million viewers but by it's third show it had dipped to just 3.4 million people tuning in.
The series is the first of the fall 2011 lineup to be cancelled and the actor, who is married to country singer LeAnn Rimes, will now have to find another acting job.
Before it even aired, the series which centred around the lives of Playboy Bunnies and the customers, drew controversy.
Feminist Gloria Steinem told Reuters back in August that she hoped viewers would boycott the show because the actual Playboy Clubs back in the 1960s were the "tackiest place on earth".
Meanwhile The Parents Television Council said that the show glamorised the porn industry and called for it to be taken off the air.
Eddie has two sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville, who he was still married to when he began romancing LeAnn.
They got married in April and LeAnn recently announced that she would like to have start a family with the actor one day. (C) Cover Media
