(Cover) - EN Star Style - Ellie Goulding relies on running to keep in shape.

The 24-year-old British singer sports an athletic figure, and puts it down to regular running sessions.

However, the talented star says that the exercise makes her look far from glamorous.

"There are times when I do look awful when I am running, it is a tough thing to run and I do a lot of long distance," she said in an interview with British television show Lorraine.

Ellie is inspired by people who take sport seriously. The pretty songstress has recalled a meeting with a Miami-based runner who, she says, has an "insane" addiction to regular exercising.

"I was in Miami recently and I got the opportunity to meet an amazing runner called Raven and he has run South Beach for 36 years, every day. He has never been on holiday; he has run through hail storms and thunder storms. To do that every day is pretty insane. People actually follow him, I think he might have been the inspiration for Forrest Gump. He is a real inspiration to me, he is pretty cool," she added. (C) Cover Media
