(Cover) - EN Star Style - Emily Mortimer always packs the wrong clothes when she goes to Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old British actress likes having the chance to soak up the sun whenever she spends time in the glamorous American city, and plans to do so this year.

However, Emily admits her suitcase packing skills need some improvement, as she always seems to take inappropriate garb on holiday.

"I'm going to be in LA this summer and I've sort of forgotten what you wear in LA. I seem to always remember being cold in LA, too. It's deceptive because you think it's nice and then it's always freezing," she smiled to Elle.

The gorgeous star has been treating herself to a few fashion treats recently. Emily was a little disappointed when 16-month-old daughter May Rose caused a spillage on one of her new purchases, although luckily she salvaged the item.

"I bought a Helmut Lang, little sort of party dress that is rather chic. And I got it at the Eva Gentry shop in Brooklyn that is just near my house. So that might come in handy for LA," she mused.

"Then I bought a little pink cashmere cardigan that's J.Crew and my daughter spilled coffee all over it the day I bought it, on a train. So I was in the bathroom of a train trying to wash it, and I think I saved it." (C) Cover Media
