October 5, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It has been reported that actress Emma Stone is most likely to play Mary Jane in the upcoming 'Spider Man' movie. Mary Jane, as we know is the love interest of Peter Parker aka Spiderman. However, nothings been confirmed about Stone playing the character. Nothings been put on papers yet.

Sony Pictures Entertainment will offer this pretty, young 21-year-old beauty, the role of Mary Jane. In the previous movies, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, Kirsten Dunst had played this role. She had played this character with quite a lot of conviction, and thus replacing her might be a big challenge for Emma.

The other actresses, who are being considered to play this superhero's love interest, are Mia Wasikowska, Dianna Agron, Georgina Haig and Dominique McElligott.

Emma, the star of movies like Superbad, The Rocker, The House Bunny and Ghosts of Girlfriends has already build up a reputation of her own. She is very young but is a convincing actress with a brilliant screen-presence.

Meanwhile Andrew Garfield will be playing the role of Peter Parker and Spider Man in the film, which will go on floors in the month of December. The film will hit film theaters on 3rd July, 2012.
