(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Emma Watson is relishing being able to eat a sandwich whenever she likes.
The 20-year-old actress has played bookish Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise since she was 11. The penultimate movie, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is out soon, with the second part hitting screens next year.
Emma is currently taking time off from acting to study literature at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She loves everything about college life, particularly being free to make her own decisions.
I have such a structure when Im working on Potter, she told Entertainment Weekly magazine. I get told what time I get picked up. I get told what time I can eat, when I have time to go to the bathroom. Being at college, I took pleasure in the smallest things. Like, Im going to wake up at 10 oclock if I want to. Or, Im going to eat a sandwich now. It feels wonderful.
While Emma loves the rigours of university life, it has never interested her Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley. One of the biggest reasons he was pleased to land the wizard role was because of the impact it would have on his life he was looking for something to end the monotony.
The alternative, of just going to college and school never really appealed to me, he said. On set there were times when it was really quite slow, but Ive always loved it. There was never a doubt that I was going to do this. (C) Cover Media
