22nd December 2010

December 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actress Emma Watson has returned to her home country the United Kingdom, not only to celebrate Christmas with her family but also to complete the last leg of shooting for the ultimate Harry Potter film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows II. According to a message posted on her account in social networking site Facebook, Emma Watson feels strange getting under the skin of Hermione Granger, the character which had made her a household name overnight. Emma Watson has however moved on from her Harry Potter days, not only is she pursuing a degree at the Brown University in the US, she has also signed a project which shows her as the younger version of erstwhile Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe.

Enma Watson will be joined by other cast members and friends from the Harry Potter series Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton to shoot the epilogue scene of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. According to reports in the media, the filming was supposed to be completed by this year summer, but it was a make-up mishap that led to the delay. A source from the films sets says that the characters were supposed to look 19 years older for a particular scene, but they ended up looking much older when the make-up was done, forcing the crew to wrap up shooting and reschedule the dates.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II hits theaters in the month of July next year.
